What I really enjoyed about the experience was the game's balance of resource micro-management and slow paced hands-on farming. They can then help you with jobs around the farm – or not, as my friend and I started playing combine harvester hide-and-seek around the town. With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on you can quickly call another local player into your game. If you are really impatient you can chose to speed this up through in-app purchases, though this seemed completely unnecessary to me.Īnother way to speed things up is to invite a friend to play. By increasing your production and efficiency, you can earn even more cash to speed up you agricultural empires development – creating a satisfying feedback loop. From Bailers to Windrowers, each is recreated in brilliant detail. More money allows you to expand your farm and purchase new tools from the 50 licensed machines on offer. Given the goal of the game is to maximize your profits often this last options is the most important. These range from the simple pleasures (like honking your horn), right through to hiring farmhands, cycling through crops, and checking market prices. The manual isn’t the only easily accessible option, all of the games various controls are just a convenient tap away. As you complete specific task, the game may prod you in the right direction, but for the most part it’s up to you to work things out (though there is a 23 page instruction manual just two taps away if you need it). This prevents you getting bogged down by lengthy instructions, getting you straight into the meat of the game. You drive your tractor with either a slider or the gyroscope, both of which responded perfectly to my inputs – though, admittedly, a large part of this is due to the game’s deliberate pace.ĭespite the volume of options and information, the game is light on tutorials. This is in part down to Farming Simulator 16’s controls. And all of this is in order to afford better equipment and more fields to further increase your income.īut while this all sounds like hard work, it’s actually a lot of fun. Then it’s time to check market prices to select a profitable crop so you can repeat the whole process. After that, you drive, slowly, across the open-world to sell it. You have to drive slow moving farm machinery to plow, sow, or harvest a field. When I describe the game, I struggle to believe how good it is.

Dominions 5 best summons9/18/2023 And since you need the paths that the Master Shugenja has to offer, you probably will not see them until the midgame anyway.Īnd finally, your Prize Fighter, the Ryujin, is stuck behind a barrier of water. The Onmyo-ji are great, with their 2 Astral, and bird friend, but since they are slow to recruit, amassing them is difficult. They are cheap at 160 gold, but you need to hire dozens of them to get just a few paths you want. The sad truth is, you Master Shugenja, with its 2 Randoms of 5 paths just is too random. All that without having your Pretender involved at all. Two of their national summons give them access to enough death magic to search for it, and water to spring board to Death 3 with Streams of Hades. And that is all before including summons. In theory, they have access to Nature 3, Earth 3, Water 3, Fire 2, Air 2, Nature 2 and Astral 2. For the Late Era, Jomon really have it all. So, you have a nation that has trouble expanding out the gate because of a combination of resource costs and missing shield.Ī second key miss for Jomon is your paths. That is Ulm territory, but again, without the shields to protect you. Each is at least 19 resources, and the samurai archers are stellar 25 resources. The fact remains though, you cannot afford to lose any troops starting out. Or they can try to stay out of range of crossbows, and hopefully out damage them as they close Their Samurai Archers are decent hybrid troops, able to hold and fire, and then take on troops that hit them. A bit high in encumbrance, but they can have good attack skill or good length. They are cheap, and in combat, if they survive the onslaught of crossbows, they can hold their own. They cost a bundle and getting enough of them to expand takes too long. So, what are their flaws that stop them from coming together?Īt the very start, they have some high resource troops without shields. If you look at their major flaws though, there all seem to share the same weakness. Jomon is a nation that does not really come together. It’s not because of Ninjas or Samurai (though those are cool) or the cool Water Dragons (who doesn't love the Ryujin) but mostly because of their interesting summons, and having some cool national holy spells (let’s be honest, Holy is a bit of a letdown, and many see the cost increase of Holy 2 as more of a penalty then a perk). Usually this restriction takes the form of not being able to target or cast ritual spells in underwater provinces (ex: Cloud Trapeze), but sometimes a ritual is only able to be cast in a wasteland (ex: Scapegoats ) or other land terrain type.Jomon is one of those nations that I love. Many rituals are constrained either by the terrain they can be cast in, or by the terrain they can target. If, however, you select the 'monthly ritual' checkbox on the ritual casting screen, they will keep the same order and continually cast that ritual every month as long as they have the gems to do so. The next turn, the mage will be once more set to the default Defend order, ready to carry out your next command. This occurs at a specific point in the resolution, so it might be worth familiarising yourself with the turn order sequence. When you end your turn, any mage you have ordered to cast a ritual will permanently consume the required resource and cast the spell. This is all they can do for the turn if you issue any other order they will stop preparing to cast and you will need to reissue the order (no resources are lost, however). If you have everything you need, the mage will be set to 'Cast ritual spell'. Select a spell to begin the ritual - if you have insufficient resources, you will be told so and the commander will be reset to the default 'Defend' order. This will display all the rituals you have researched which your mage is capable of casting. You can order a mage to cast a ritual by opening their command menu and selecting 'Cast ritual spell'. In order to cast a ritual, you require four things: a mage with sufficient magic paths to cast the ritual a laboratory to staff the mage in while they cast the gems to fuel the ritual and the research to know how to cast the ritual. These are the spells that you cast on the strategic map of Dominions 5 and play a major role in almost every nation's toolkit. Ritual magic is concerned with the casting of grand spells - think esoteric magic circles, weeks of mystical chanting, and the sacrifice of magic resources (or slaves!) in return for a tremendous effect. Magic comes in two main forms: combat magic and ritual magic.

Captain america falcon.9/18/2023 While both of these men distinguished themselves as Captain America's partners and worthy inheritors to that title, Falcon and Bucky still had to learn to work together as allies and friends, much like in the MCU, before either one of them could wield the shield. Several years later, Sam Wilson took on the role of Captain America as well when Steve was incapacitated again. In the comics, General Ross has been a staple since the 1960s and. When the nation needed to decide what to do with Captain America, Iron Man came to a decision himself and gave the shield and costume to Bucky, who served as the new Captain America while Steve was gone and until he was asked to pay for his past crimes from his days as a brainwashed assassin. Known as Sam Wilson aka Falcon (Mackie), the films follow the comic lore of the character becoming the new Captain America. In return, Bucky trusted Falcon to watch over Captain America at the hospital.Ĭaptain America died, and as the world mourned. Falcon, now completely trusting Bucky, told him to get away before the police showed up since he was a member of Captain America's outlaw Anti-Registration movement. Bucky took down Crossbones and admitted he knew Red Skull was behind this. Falcon flew Winter Soldier up to the chopper and opened fire. The fight ended quickly, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier had their first official team up as they tried to catch Captain America's apparent shooter, Crossbones, who was in a helicopter getting away. Falcon saw Winter Soldier in a building and thought he had killed Captain America, so Falcon attacked him. Naturally, their team-up began with a misunderstanding. While Falcon was flying overhead and saw what happened, Bucky Barnes was watching from a nearby rooftop and went into immediate action. Shortly after that, the first time that Falcon and the Winter Soldier teamed up to work together was in 2007's Captain America #25 by Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting, Frank D'Armata & VC's Joe Caramagna. Steve Rogers was killed on the steps of a courthouse by a brainwashed Sharon Carter. The all-new series is directed by Kari Skogland Malcolm Spellman is. Three years later, Captain America was dead in the aftermath of Marvel's Civil War. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilitiesand their patiencein Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Grease lightning live fox9/18/2023 In the original musical, the song is Kenickie's featured number, with the other greasers serving as his backup singers. Jim Jacobs later released a revised set of lyrics suitable for school performances that remove the sexual references (this "clean" version was also used in Fox's live television production of Grease), and most televised edits of the film cut the offending lyrics. It was one of the few songs from the original Chicago-centric version of Grease to transition, uncut, from Chicago to Broadway and to film. In the original recording, as was in the case with the stage musical on which it was based, several unairable profanities of a sexual nature are peppered throughout the lyrics, which deterred a number of stations from playing the song and possibly prevented it from reaching the top 40 in the United States. (In the film, despite the contradictions in the lyrics, the greasers along with a shop teacher succeed in rebuilding the car into racing condition.) Both the musical and the film imply that at least some of the parts Kenickie uses are stolen. manual transmission, and "four-barrel quads" are carburetors inconsistent with true " Fuel injection cut off". Hydramatic" transmission therefore could not have "a four speed on the floor" i.e. The lyrics portray Kenickie (in the film, Danny) as more of a dreamer or even poseur than a real gearhead because some of the features he describes are mutually exclusive with others: a car with an " automatic. Kenickie, a member of the greaser gang at the center of the musical, has purchased a used car with the savings from his summer job, giving it the nickname "Greased Lightnin'." While the other greasers are skeptical of the car because it is in such poor shape, he is able to win them over with a rousing rock and roll number describing the modifications needed to transform it into a hot rod capable of arousing the ladies. A soundtrack recording from the film version, with John Travolta on lead vocals, peaked at No. The performances of the cast lived up to the original musical’s name." Greased Lightnin'" is a song from the 1971 musical Grease which was also adapted into the 1978 film Grease. Overall, “Grease Live!” struck an emotional chord with most audiences. Vanessa Hudgens performed her heart out as Betty Rizzo in FOX network’s new live project. It is truly a scene to behold even if you are not a fan of the musical genre. Hudgens gave the performance of her life clearly overshadowing her performances in the “High School Musical” franchise. It was certainly an applause-worthy role. Having lost her father to stage four cancer just a day before taking center stage for “Grease Live!” mixed her powerhouse vocals with raw emotion. Although her acting was not quite as edgy as it should have been, her performance of “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” was a truly emotional and moving one. The second talent that stunned audiences and had the Internet talking even a week after the premiere was Vanessa Hudgens (“Spring Breakers”) as Betty Rizzo. Playing Danny in the production of “Grease Live!” showed the world just how broad this man’s talent is and will continue to be. Tveit’s portrayal of Danny surprised audiences because they were used to him playing more bland characters, such as his role as Enjolras in the 2012 adaptation of “Les Miserables.” His bold and wildly energetic character was a shocking and amazing surprise. The first was Aaron Tveit (“Graceland”), who starred as Danny Zuko, singing “Greased Lightning.” Tveit’s stage presence and dance moves blew audiences away. If you were looking for the best musical scenes to watch, two especially stood out. This could not be said for “Grease Live!” Almost every actor and actress performed their heart out. Audiences were a little worried about it, having seen past live productions of musicals like “The Sound of Music” in 2013, also made by FOX, and being severely disappointed in the choice of actresses (mainly Carrie Underwood of “American Idol” fame and her lack of acting skills). 31 on the FOX network and it is still available to watch on FOX’s website in case you missed the original airing. While nothing can hold a candle to how awesome watching lovebirds Danny and Sandy ride off into the sky on a convertible was, “Grease Live!” came pretty darn close.

2002 honda odyssey minivan9/18/2023 Also, road noise issues, rattles, expensive power door failures, sticking door seals, indifferent dealer service and added dealer markup weighed against this powerful and large family cruiser. The largest online gallery of 2002 Honda Odyssey aftermarket wheels, tires, suspension and performance parts. As in the similar 5 speed transmissions of the Acura TL and MDX, failure of the transmission's third clutch pack, blockage of internal transmission fluid flow by large amounts of clutch debris, and other issues remained a problem even after the oil jet recall. The oil jet recall for some 5-speed automatic transmissions did not address or solve the main cause of breakdown. The 4-speed automatic transmission in 1999 to 2001 models and the 5-speed automatic in 2002 to 2004 models had very serious problems with transmission reliability which have not been solved. It had class-leading power and good acceleration, however transmission technology failed to keep pace with engine power. The American van was the first Japanese minivan to adopt the size and layout of the class-leading Dodge Caravan. The American Odyssey was sold under the name Honda Lagreat in Japan from 1998 to 2004, with the smaller Japanese Odyssey continuing in Japan and numerous export markets. The Odyssey was Wheels magazine's Car of the Year for 1995. The Odyssey and Oasis were used in New York City as taxi cabs. Whether you are considering a purchase of the car, or just wanting to. Acura got the Trooper and renamed it the SLX. The 2002 Honda Odyssey runs on regular gasoline and is in the Minivan - 2WD car class. Honda got from Isuzu the Rodeo and renamed it the Passport. Isuzu got from Honda the Odyssey and renamed it the Oasis. This unusual sharing of vehicles resulted from a lack of SUVs in Honda's lineup. The Odyssey was rebadged as the Isuzu Oasis, which is now discontinued. The EX came with two second row captain's chairs. The LX could fit seven with two front buckets, a three-seat middle bench, and a 2-seat third row bench. The first generation Odyssey came in two trim levels LX and upscale EX. Consumers agreed and the first generation Odyssey was not a sales success. Consumer Reports preferred the larger, redesigned Dodge Caravan in a test. Built on the Accord platform and using a 4-cylinder engine like the Accord's, many critics thought the interior was too small for a minivan, and the engine underpowered despite an engine size increase in 1998. The Odyssey was also the first minivan to have a flat-folding third row seat. The basic vehicle was shared between the Japanese and North American markets. Honda hood protector, stainless steel flex brake lines, Honda block heater, AC condenser screen, Zymol wax. Your gen 2 Ody has a 3.5 liter J35 engine. The Odyssey was introduced in 1995 as a compact minivan with four swing-open doors as on most sedans rather than the conventional sliding door design. It says it fits a 98 or 99 Accord 3 liter J30 engine. In North America it is manufactured as a minivan. The Honda Odyssey is a vehicle manufactured by Honda.

Nik nocturnal age9/18/2023 That being said, a lot of the guests I’ve had on Twitch have been incredible. It will take too much time to reflect on what has happened because I’m always in go-go-go mode, working on what I have to plan next to keep things going. “Yeah, I mean, there’s been a good amount. I mean, technically, it was Avenged Sevenfold’s Unholy Confessions, but I was like, ‘wow, what is this? It’s horrifying, but I love it.’” V13 Cover Story 006 – Nik Nocturnal – Sep 26, 2022įast forward and by now, you’ve probably worked with most of the bands that inspired you to take up this career… “I think it had to have been probably As I Lay Dying’s ‘Through Struggle’ – that was kind of my first intro to metalcore. What was the song or band that gave you that holy fuck lightbulb moment? That was technically my intro, but I always thought, ‘oh, what’s this scary demon screaming music stuff?’”Ī familiar story. I started off with bands like Alexisonfire, As I Lay Dying, Underoath and stuff like that. “I was with my cousin all the time, and he would just have heavier music when we were younger. What about music? What was your gateway into heavy music? I like messing with everything, but I really got into MySpace.” Nik Nocturnal: “I came at the end of MySpace and used some of the earlier stuff like MSN and probably had a few YouTube channels as well. Thanks for your time, Nik like I said earlier, I’d like to do a deep dive into your story, starting with the early days… Recently, we spoke to Nik about his life, his gateway into heavy music and, of course, his thoughts on the state of the music industry and how the pandemic forced a change in mindset for the entire industry. That’s before we’ve even started on one of his numerous musical project Termina. One of the success stories of the internet revolution has been Nik Nocturnal, a man who has gone from releasing covers to recording reaction videos on a whole raft of subjects to working with some of the biggest names in modern metal. While it now seems like everyone is a content creator these days, some have managed to turn it into a full-time career rather than just releasing videos recorded in their kitchen ranting about how the new Limp Bizkit album sucks. With gigs and touring off-limits, bands, artists and content creators turned to the internet to get their work out there. Love it or hate it, but over the past couple of years, the landscape has shifted for the music industry.

Sherpa pullover southern marsh9/18/2023 The first school in Le Grand was established in the mid-1850s. That district currently serves the communities of Le Grand, Gilman, Laurel, Quarry, Dillon, Dunbar and Ferguson.Įast Marshall was formed in 1992, according to “Continuing History.” Prior to that, there were a couple of waves of consolidation. On the other side of the county, the purple-and-gold East Marshall Mustangs have come about much more recently. “Rhodes’ citizens vehemently opposed the (local school) closing because they anticipated a negative effect on the town, but were unsuccessful,” it reads. The final blows came in 1979 with the closing of the Clemons school building and in 1983 with the Melbourne school closing.Īccording to “Continuing History,” there was discontent among some citizens in the smaller towns around State Center when it came to consolidation. However, as the years went on and new educational additions popped up in State Center, other towns began to lose their school buildings. The formation of the current district didn’t immediately spell the end for local school buildings in the other towns. Rhodes and State Center combined in 1961, just before the final 1962 formation of West Marshall. Minerva Consolidated School combined with State Center in 1945, and LaMoille did the same in 1955. Another wave of consolidation came in the post-World War II period. That was the way of things in western Marshall County for a few decades. The same happened in State Center in 1909 and in LaMoille and Melbourne around 1914-15, according to “Continuing History.” Rhodes Consolidated Schools started in 1883, combining students at several area schoolhouses. After that, a first wave of school consolidation began in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The first small schoolhouses appeared in the district in the 1860s in Rhodes and State Center. The modern district came to be in 1962 after an election was held to consolidate several independent area districts into West Marshall, according to “Continuing History.” Today, the black-and-gold of West Marshall Community School District covers State Center, where all of its education buildings are located, as well as Melbourne, Rhodes, St. Krob said looking at historical population data can sometimes be difficult because methods of collecting information were different than they are now. The arrival of the Baby Boomer generation also contributed to the growth of the state’s population. He said international immigration from places like Germany and Ireland was a key to that population growth in the early- and mid-20th century like it is today. “Iowa’s population in general has always just had a slow and steady population increase,” he said, noting that was prior to the farm crisis in the 1980s. Gary Krob of the State Library of Iowa’s State Data Center said the state’s population experienced steady growth throughout those time periods. In the 1940s and beyond, she said consolidation saw schools in smaller towns lose out in favor of those in larger towns, like State Center, Le Grand and, in her case, Marshalltown. She said the first wave of consolidations in the late 1800s and early 1900s came as a result of country schools banding together. Lang said Van Cleve, just like some communities in the West Marshall, East Marshall and GMG school districts, could not keep up with the educational and facilities needs required by the state for student success. That small town was eventually added to the Marshalltown School District and its local building closed. Lang said she grew up in Van Cleve, east of Melbourne. “There are pros and cons like there is in everything.” “The small town people, like we were … thought consolidation was probably not good for us because we would lose our school,” said 34-year Marshalltown Schools teacher and current Green Mountain-Garwin substitute teacher Julie Lang.
